Employee of the Month (March): Charlie “Bi-Winning Sheen”

Hi there, HR the Series Supporters!

Thanks so much for dropping by.  We sincerely appreciate all who have clicked on our trailer, and look forward to showing you Episode 1 and giving you the scoop on the behind-the-scenes of this whimsical workplace comedy.

But while we wait for that, we’d like to talk some pop culture and work-related topics…including what we expect to become a monthly event.  Each time the calendar switches over, we will select an employee who is famous for all the wrong or right reasons.

This month, that employee is Charlie Sheen and we’re not quite sure how to categorize him.

This tiger says he DOES NOT share blood with Charlie Sheen. In fact, he is offended by the allegations.

Either he’s a man of the people who is hitting back at the network suits or he’s a pompous blowhard who has so ingratiated himself into the American TV-watching psyche that he is being allowed to implode all the while attracting offers of employment.

We’ll let you be the judge after you think about what he has done so far.  To recap. Let’s relive the Sheen dream:

1.  He got sidelined from “Two and a Half Men” for issues with substance abuse.

2.  He went around doing a bunch of rant-filled media interviews,  ripping his bosses new ones and tossing out new catchprases including trolls, Adonis DNA, tiger blood, warlock and our personal favorite: duh, winning.

3.  He got mocked.  Relentlessly and by a number of people. (Jimmy Fallon’s “Winning Cologne” is our fave.)

4.  He started his own empire based on getting mocked and…ahem…those catchphrases. He broke a Guinness record by attracting a million followers in 24 hours.

5. He got fired.

6.  He continued to farm his fame.

7.  Rumor has it, he may be rehired by CBS.

Huh?  Yeah, we don’t get it either, but we have to take our hats off to this TV star for breaking all the rules and somehow making moolah though everyone, including Alec Baldwin, warned him to slow his proverbial roll.

We crown you, Charlie Sheen, Employee of the Month.  Just promise not to violently love us, and our puppet cast, to death.  We are very afraid of that….

Tell us what you think?  Is Sheen a Good or Bad Employee of the Month.
