JEFF GAMLIN is reigning supreme in “Alien Queen.” Gamlin, who voiced not one, but two of our main characters, also demonstrates some singing chops performing in a play that combines puppets, a script that satires the “Alien” series and songs from Queen in a play that runs until Dec. 18. JILL FREDERICKSON is taking a trip down “Berwyn Avenue.” Frederickson, a puppeteer who also lent her set dressing experience to “HR the Series,” is performing in a Von Orthal production about trashy characters who “drink, smoke and have extramarital affairs,” according to a review in “Steadystyle Chicago.” The show runs through Dec. 19.
